Planning a Trip to France with Us: FAQs

A self-guided driving tour lets you explore France independently, with the comfort of having every detail carefully planned by local experts.

France Just For You Travel Planners:

  • Design your day-by-day itinerary,
  • Book charming accommodations
  • Arrange your rental car and activities
  • Provide a personalized guidebook and app

... so you can travel at your own pace without feeling alone.

Yes.
Every France Just For You trip is tailor-made around your travel dates, interests, pace, preferred regions and comfort level.

We do not sell standard group tours or fixed itineraries.

We listen to what you enjoy — history, food, wine, villages, scenery, gardens, markets or quiet back roads — and craft the trip around you.

Our trips usually include :

  • carefully selected accommodations (premium B&Bs or Boutique-Hotels)
  • A rental car with automatic transmission and all insurance package with 0-excess fees
  • High-Speed-Train or domestic flight tickets if needed in your itinerary
  • Local activities chosen based on what you like and dislike
  • Restaurant and visit recommendations and road maps
  • A detailed personalized guidebook and travel app with your trip day by day
  • Support from our team before, during and after your trip in France.

Your itinerary is planned by our small team based in France: Emilie (owner), Laura (travel planner since 2018), Clara (operations coordinator).

We personally know the B&B owners, boutique hotels, guides and local partners we recommend. This means we can suggest not only the right region or activity, but often the right place to stay — and sometimes even the right room!

Yes. You travel independently, but you are not on your own.

  • Before your trip, we answer your questions and prepare your itinerary carefully.
  • During your trip, you have your personalized guidebook, your travel app and the reassurance of being able to contact our team if you need help.
  • After your trip, we remain at your disposal if you need anything.

Our Travelers’ Reviews

Myrna & Don
We are experienced travelers world-wide, generally organizing our own itinerary or having a travel group help us with a tour-for-two, and a personal guide, in several select locations. This was our first visit to France. So to be on our own with the guidance and extremely comprehensive written support of France Just For You was just remarkable and …

This was the best trip to France we have ever been on! It was the second trip that Emilie and Laura at France Just for You set up for us. The first was a trip around Provence, which we loved so much that we asked them to set up our second trip to the Loire Valley, Normandy, and Paris. Both trips were tailored to our interests - food, wine, art …

We have just return from an amazing holiday arranged by France Just for You - visiting Paris, Vimy Ridge, Normandy (D-Day Beaches) and Mont Saint Michel. Emilie listened to what our wishes were and arranged everything in great detail. The accommodations (hotels and bed and breakfasts) all had so much charm and character - the hosts were very …
