Itineraries & Travel Tips

We are a group of Wine Aficionados and we recently traveled to Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, and Paris and were very impressed with this service. It took us quite some time to formalize (and agree) what we wanted in terms of places and wineries we wanted to visit, but in the end "France Just for You" came through with excellent organization and planning that enabled us to have a worry-free vacation. The lodging was very good in every place they put us up in, except that in several of the Bed & Breakfasts where there was no Air Condition (Saint Emilion and Champagne) and there was a Heat Wave so it was difficult to sleep some nights, however the cleanliness and service in every place was fantastic--especially the Breakfasts and the FANTASTIC hosts. The Tour Guides were exceptional as well in every place we visited. Do make sure a Wine Guide is provided as they have contacts, and know the area, so this way, there is minimal time wasted.
Laura provided a fantastic book with ALL the information you may need, organized by day. From things to do, how to get to places, where to get help, etc. Make sure you READ it!! The transportation arrangements were excellent, including Car Rentals.

The only thing that did not go well was the provisioning of 2 Mobile phones that were supposed to be delivered to our first place of stay, but one of them did not work, and because we were on the move a lot, that (non working) phone replacement did not get to us until toward the end of the trip, which made it a little inconvenient, and added extra expense to us, for which they did their best to make it up to us. If this was the only bad thing about the trip, that tells you how good the whole thing was!

I would use "France Just for You" again for any trip to France. They saved us time and headaches, and helped us have a great vacation with memories to last a lifetime.

Our 11 day trip in France planned by “ our Ladies “ at France Just For You was wonderful. There were no snafus, the lodging and activities were all more than expected, which all together created a great trip. We did well driving with the use of their excellent directions and gps coordinates that hooked up with Waze. We also were lucky to have warm sunny weather. Their attention to detail , restaurants, and knowledge of where we were going was very useful. We especially liked the off the beaten course places- sometimes on a country back road but we always found our way back!

My wife & I completed a 2 week self-driving tour engaging the thorough and knowledgeable services of Emilie A France Just for You. Every detail was flawlessly accounted for, GPS app, wonderful B&B's, and she planned our itinerary according to our desires. The advantage of enlisting her is to get a reality check on time spent in each area as well as driving distances. We had so much ground to cover that she made this an efficient trip. Too bad LeMans track was not open for viewing(had a truck race that nite, so is closed to visitors). But museum was awesome. All her chosen accommodations were wonderful & it saved me tons of hours of research. She arranged our day to day visits and was extremely flexible & enabled me to drive the 1200 miles in an efficient manner. That was very important to me, as I prefer to travel alone with my wife rather than a group, and our journey was as smoothe as a Swiss timepiece. She chose places to visit that were off the beaten path that we would have missed on our own. Highly recommend Emilie.

France Just for You made our trip to France a very wonderful experience! Emilie asked what we'd like to do and she did all of the work. From booking charming, cozy hotels and b&b's to creating itineraries tailored toward our interests. The book she created for us included directions and suggested hikes in Paris, Bayeux, Honfleur and Giverny. We were even given suggestions on where to eat along with detailed directions. My wife and I completed a 3 week driving trip out of Bordeaux which was organized by France Just for You. The Bed and Breakfast accommodations were superb, the personalized guidebook comprehensive and well-organized, and the booked activities were high quality. Having the rental car booked for us was a major advantage (Don’t drive in France without GPS). France Just for You gets my highest recommendation.

My wife and I and two friends decided we would like to visit France and by chance I found Emilie's website and initiated an online conversation with her over a year ago. We really did not know what we wanted to do, nor where we wanted to go and so our planning became a moving feast, most ably supported by Emilie. How she ever put up with our changing demands remains beyond me. The speed with which she responded to our requests was nothing short of amazing, she must never sleep !! We together finally put together a truly wonderful programme that met our every expectation. We saw provincial France over 17 days, starting in the Cote D'Azur and culminating in Paris, visiting Provence, Burgundy and the Loire. The accommodation arranged by Emilie was delightful, her suggestions on activities, routes, restaurants, sights to see and visit were outstanding.
Travelling from Australia to France is not for the fainthearted at any time, let alone making an unescorted self drive tour such as we have done over the past month. I doubt we could have done it without Emilie's very professional support.
